Personally I could see value in PF2e beginner box - pawn set of this size alone is worth ~20-25$, and quality flip-mat is another $15. 5e instead have couple of relatively small printed maps which maybe worth $5-10 and can't really be reused. Rest is roughly the same value IMO, so pf2e beginner box comes ahead.
